About Us

President

President's Welcome

Welcome to the Alpha Beta chapter of Kappa Theta Pi in New Brunswick, NJ! It is my honor to welcome you to our chapter's website and share more about what our chapter is about. KTP brings together students who are passionate about technology, professional growth, and lasting connections.

As a member of the Alpha Class, I've had the privilege of watching this chapter grow from its earliest stages into a group defined by ambition, creativity, and support. In such a short time, KTP has become more than a professional technology fraternity, it's a place where students are encouraged to explore their interests, challenge themselves, and grow alongside people who want to see them succeed.

Being part of this brotherhood has taught me so much about the technology industry and the many paths within it. Through workshops, professional events, company interactions, technical projects, and everyday conversations, I've gained a deeper understanding of what it means to pursue a career in tech with curiosity and purpose. I'm always inspired by how driven our brothers are, whether they're working at leading companies, competing in and winning hackathons, or continuing their education beyond their undergraduate years, they consistently push themselves to learn, lead, and create.

At the same time, what makes our chapter so special is not only how hard everyone works, but how much we uplift one another. Our brothers celebrate each other's accomplishments, offer guidance through challenges, and foster an environment where everyone feels motivated to grow into the best version of themselves. I am incredibly grateful for the friendships I've made here and for the people who have made this chapter feel like home.

As we continue to grow, I'm excited for the experiences, connections, and memories we will create together this semester. I'm especially looking forward to welcoming new members who will bring their own passions, ideas, and perspectives into our brotherhood. I hope this website shows you more about who we are, what we value, and the community we are so proud to be building.

Warm regards,
Aditi Sreeganesh

Alumni Connections

While we are new, we have brothers who have interned / worked at various companies such as Amazon, Vanguard, Fidelity, Nokia, and more, and we plan on building our Alumni Network as time goes by.

Social Growth

Kappa Theta Pi fosters friendships through social events, including tailgates, bowling, apple picking, and KTP formal.

Technical Advancement

Academic Support

Kappa Theta Pi helps foster academic growth by providing a network of the brightest tech minds for support in and out of the classroom.

KTP's History

KTP was founded on January 10, 2012, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as the University of Michigan's first professional technology fraternity.

The fraternity aims to create bonds between students from various fields such as Informatics, computer science, business, design, and computer engineering.

Our goal is to develop networks through professional and social growth while exposing members to career opportunities in the tech industry.

We, the founders of the Alpha Beta chapter in New Brunswick, started this effort to build a stronger community for students interested in technology.
